potty time

Have you ever had those days when you wonder where your child gets some things from? Those days when you wish your spouse had taken them instead of you!

When my husband was younger (3) his parents had taken him to do some shopping. He told his parents he needed to use it (go to the potty), so his mom let him go to the potty. As they were walking outside to leave the store he pointed over by a trash can and said look mom I pooped there! He had gone outside and went #2 instead of going to the bathroom. Can you imagine the stares and comments from other parents! What do you do? Back then I guess it was normal to let your 3 yr old go alone?

Thank you to my beautiful mother-in-law for this story! It definitely brought a laugh.

A mother is a great thing to be, makes you feel blessed when you feel as if you are at your end, and makes you laugh and smile when you are hurt or sad.

Babysitting is definitely a hard job that takes a strong person to be able to handle, and do a good job while taking care of your own children that are very close in age. One day while walking through the living room M stepped on a sharp edge of a toy, not thinking she shouted out F*&K. S being the noble son that he is wanted to make sure mommy knew what she said. S looks up at mommy and states, that is not a firetruck mommy and proceeded to return with his firetruck and explain to mommy what the firetruck was and how to pronounce it properly.

Say what?!?!?!?

A mother, we will call her M, and her beautiful daughter, we will call her D, were in Georgia visiting the parents and decided it would be a great time to go eat at Fudrucker's for lunch. The mother was newly single and trying to make herself even more beautiful and flirty looking (as if that is possible). Once at the restaurant it was a nice sight for the eyes, it was filled with tons of guys eating :) Choosing one of the tables next to one that contained 8-10 hot business men was an easy choice. One caught the mom's eye and gave her "the look", come on ladies you know what I am talking about! So, D decided she needed to go to the potty, and so M and D went to the potty to take care of business, only # 1 of course :) About two feet from the table D VERY LOUDLY announces, "EVERYBODY, EVERYBODY"; now of course this gets everyone's attention, she then proceeds to say "MOMMY POOPED!!!!!" The whole restaurant broke out in laughter and D's grandpa about choked on his big mouthful of coke, which did end up everywhere! M wanted to say NOOOOO I didn't!! But it wasn't as if anyone would believe her or that it would make a difference. The food just got there and she had to eat while she felt like the whole restaurant thought that she pooped :)

Casual Friday is a well known wonderful day that all employees look forward to. Dressing in your jeans and feeling quite a bit more comfortable. Going into the manager's office to speak with him is normally a place where you would hope that nothing embarrassing is going to occur. As it is time for me to leave he asks a simple yet curious question, "Would you be embarrassed if I told you something personal?" Depending on your relationship with your manager, there are numerous things that can be running through your head as to what in the world he would want to speak with you about that is going to be embarrassing. Of course I don't mind, embarrassment is not my middle name. Of course he continues with "well never mind". What?! You can't just tell someone that, get their curiosity up and then leave it at that. My reply of course, "Just tell me already." He then continues on to simply state, "Your zipper is down on your jeans." Now was that so tough?? I simply replied, "Oh I must have been super excited to get back to all that work you have been giving me and I forgot to zip back up!"

Batter up!

Playing softball is a fun time for both men and women, however you never know what you may hear when you are there. Everyone is having a great game today and you are nervous as can be, it is your turn up for bat and you know you better do good. The pitcher swings her arm back, forward, and releases the ball you hit it, and BAM! you hit the pitcher dead in the head! Okay so that wasn't so good right, it cannot possibly get any worse, or make you feel more embarrassed than you just did. Well, maybe it can....

You are up to bat again, you lean into the pitch swing and .... whoops.... the loudest fart you have ever heard comes out, and you realize it came out of you! Even worse yet is, the guy you have been checking out was standing behind the fence, right behind you.... it would be the same day you ate hard boiled eggs...

Has this happened to you??

Picture this: You have company in the living room, and are in the bathroom while your kids are running around in your bedroom. The bedroom door is open so the kiddos are in and out bringing stuff in and taking things out. As you walk out of the bathroom you are right behind your son who happens to have lubricant in his hand as he is running out of the bedroom. Hurrying and grabbing the lubricant out of his hand you look up to see your daughter handing someone your vibrator!

Have you ever wondered if anyone had been through what you were going through at that time? I think I go through that a minimum of once a day! I can't blame it on being a mom because this has been my story for as long as I can remember. I have heard tons of stories too, I mean being as open as I am, makes others open up to me. I love to hear about what people go through in their lives no matter how happy or sad it is.

Have you ever been around a lot of people and realize, only after everyone in the world has walked by you and talked to you, that your shirt was see-threw in the sunlight! I mean I am sure someone could have said something a long time before you realize that people are looking down at your breasts a little too much. I think by this time it is just better that no one tells you and you never have to deal with the embarrassment of knowing that your fiance's grandpa has actually been staring at your breasts all day long and not just zoning out.
